CheckiO is a game designed for collaborative education. It gets coders from around the world together to learn from each other in an online game environment. Different challenges or tasks are published to the system by the players. Other players then try and solve the request with their code. Others then challenge the code and improve on it making everyone learn new and faster ways to code.
Give CheckiO a look if you want to improve your coding skills and be a code master.

What did I learn at Kinnernet?
Immigration, border control, refugees, terrorists, trade routes, customs checks, insect infestation, territory conflicts and bad coffee. There are so many rules and regulations on borders around the world. Now there is a game...
On GMVR we finished playing Journey of a Roach from Daedelic Entertainment. It was an exceptionally fun click adventure, filled with some fun wall climbing and puzzle solving mechanics. The visual design was really fun, and I loved the way that the speech bubbles were drawings rather than text. It gave a wonderful cartoon feeling to the game. Have a look at our play-through series to see all the ins and outs of this post-apocalyptic adventure game.
The past few months I have been working on a new video blog called GMVR. It's a gaming channel that's not trying to redefine anything, just have fun with my depressed friend on Mondays. The worst days ever, now get a little better. So here we are playing Nanocrafter.org. It's a free to play puzzle game that teaches a better understanding about convalescent stands and such. I'm still not sure what we were doing though. But it was fun! Have a try yourself and see how far you can get.
THE FIRST 250 STUDENTS of 1,000 HAVE SIGNED UP!
It looks like I might just make my goal of 1,000 students by the end of October. Today there are just over 250 students that have signed up and are taking my new Basics of Game Design course online. As a promotion, I've been offering the first waves of students that sign up, for big discounts.
Does this mean you missed the early bird discount? Apparently, other sites are starting to pick up on the course, and are linking to affiliate discounts. This means that there are still some 90% OFF for the first 150 codes still available. Make sure to sign up as there are not many left before the discount goes from 90% to 75% off.
