In 2012 I set out to teach the secrets I had learned, of Serious Game Design. Since then thousands of students have taken my Basic Game Design Course online so far. Since I launched it years ago, I have had lots of great feedback about how it helped inspire and change people's lives. This makes me so excited to announce the following news.
Creativerse is a block-based online sandbox game developed by Playful Corp. The game has been released on May 8th 2017 on Steam free to play with optional pay-content, but is still being extended by its developers.

On GMVR we finished playing Journey of a Roach from Daedelic Entertainment. It was an exceptionally fun click adventure, filled with some fun wall climbing and puzzle solving mechanics. The visual design was really fun, and I loved the way that the speech bubbles were drawings rather than text. It gave a wonderful cartoon feeling to the game.
