In 2012 I set out to teach the secrets I had learned, of Serious Game Design. Since then thousands of students have taken my Basic Game Design Course online so far. Since I launched it years ago, I have had lots of great feedback about how it helped inspire and change people's lives. This makes me so excited to announce the following news.
Many fans of The Big Lebowski are familiar with the game Bowling. However, the history of the game has quite a few surprises, from being a religious game, to being illegal for many decades. Let's look at Bowling, the History and evolution of the game that dates back 5,000 years.
One of my favourite films, is Tron. Not just because Jeff Bridges "The Dude" stars in it. Not because it was the first film to use CGI. I loved it because of the GAMES! For those of you that don't know, Tron was a film back in 1982 where Jeff Bridges gets sucked into a computer and is forced to play games. If you haven't seen it or the sequel, I won't spoil it further for you. Needless to say, they have these 'discs' which they use all the time in the games. Creativerse is a block-based online sandbox game developed by Playful Corp. The game has been released on May 8th 2017 on Steam free to play with optional pay-content, but is still being extended by its developers.

The past few months I have been working on a new video blog called GMVR. It's a gaming channel that's not trying to redefine anything, just have fun with my depressed friend on Mondays. The worst days ever, now get a little better. So here we are playing Nanocrafter.org. It's a free to play puzzle game that teaches a better understanding about convalescent stands and such. I'm still not sure what we were doing though. But it was fun! Have a try yourself and see how far you can get.
